1/4 cup soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
2 tbsp oyster sauce (optional but adds depth)
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with
2 tbsp water (for thickening)
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional)

Beef and Broccoli Instructions
Cook the Ground Beef: In a large skillet or wok, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula. Drain excess grease if necessary.
Add Garlic and Ginger: Stir in the minced garlic and ground ginger. Cook for about 1 minute, or until fragrant.
Steam the Broccoli: Push the beef mixture to one side of the skillet and add the broccoli florets. Cover and steam for 3-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch slurry. Pour over the beef and broccoli mixture.
Combine and Serve: Stir everything together until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and broccoli evenly. Add chili flakes for a bit of heat if desired. Serve over rice or noodles.
