This is a great salad similar to the one made by Outback. Very quick to make and tastes great!
Ingredients for blue cheese dressing:
1/2 cup blue cheese crumbled
1/4 cup regular milk or buttermilk (buttermilk will make a thicker dressing)
1/4 cup mayo
1/4 cup sour cream
dash of worchestershire
1/2 tsp. kosher salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Directions for dressing:
Whisk everything except the blue cheese. Gently blend the blue cheese into the dressing. Let sit in the fridge for at least 30 minutes, preferably one hour.
1/2 head of iceberg lettuce cut into 4 wedge size servings
1/2 cup cherry tomatoes diced
4 slices of bacon cooked and diced
1/4 cup red onion diced
Place a wedge of iceberg lettuce on a plate. Spoon the blue cheese dressing over the lettuce. Top with tomatoes, bacon and red onion. Garnish with a little freshly cracked black pepper.
